she tastes in her tears
the brine of the sea
swallowing her dreams

At the Beach

child at the beach
sifts sand through his fingers
a castle in his hands

Breakers

breakers sweep away
the sounds of gulls on the beach
ever bickering
you and me on a blanket
planning our future

Sea Tales

sit on the shore
one with the driftwood — listen
to the sea’s soft tales

Wavelets

playing tag with wavelets
seagulls squeal like toddlers
when their toes get wet

White Sails

white sails flash
in the hazy blue sea
dolphins playing tag

Listening

sit among the stones
become one with tiny things
listening to the sea

sea roars in my ear
lion hunting weak swimmers
it licks at my toes
